You could output the value of "parent.parent.form.mycombo.value" resp. 
"parent.parent.form.mycombo.updateData()" in the debugger, it should 
match the current selection's value. At least this is required for the 
data-mapping to work. If these values don't match, it's most likely an 
issue in the components, in the other case, it could be a lfc-datapath 
issue.
