Actually, I think I will just delete that insertion.  I think having  
showInternalProperties as a configurable property of the <debug> tag  
was wishful thinking on my part.  I don't see that anyone processes  
that anywhere...  [It might be a good idea to have a protocol for  
communicating debugger configuration parameters from the console to  
the debugger core, but we don't have that right now...]
