Approved, but can you please confirm that the <ulink > syntax is the
proper form we should be using between and among all books in the
documentation?
There are now at least three, maybe four different formats used for
links within docs and between docs, viz:
<a href="[url]"> <!-- deprecated-->
<a href="$[{dguide}|{reference}].filename"> <!--deprecated, but
still in use ?-->
<xref linkend=""> <!-- is this to be deprecated in favor of ulink?-->
<ulink >
The preferred syntax has changed over time as the tools have
improved. Until now, some syntaxes work within documents but not
within (for example from Developer's Guide to Reference, and vice
versa).
At some point we need to clarify what the policy is; I'll be writing
a proposal for the doctools page on the wiki.
In the meantime, I'm OK with whatever works to fix broken links.
Comments welcome.
