Questions:

I'm not sure I like 'datafromchild'.  I'm wondering if we should have  
a dataset `type` which can be 'immediate' (legacy), 'local' (use  
<data> tag) or 'remote' (use src attribute)?

What are the 'dataset attributes' that a <data> tag can have?
