I haven't looked at the changeset yet, but I did look at your report of 
the tests not working.
You need to read and follow instructions in "readme.txt" in the 
test/video directory.

I couldn't check test-recording.lzx since my camera driver seems to have 
gone missing since I installed Camtasia, but all the rest of the tests 
work EXCEPT test-microphone-recording.lzx.  I'd write it up as a bug, 
but I can't seem to reach JIRA right now.

Thanks for thoroughly testing your change!
