[Laszlo-dev] how do you enter 'international' text on a Mac?

Go into System Preferences > International > Input Menu
Check 'Character Palette' and at the Bottom 'Show input menu in menu  
bar'
You'll be able to select a character palette from the input menu in  
the top right of your menu bar.
