Thanks for the input Mike.

1.  We initially used the <splash> tag but there is a weird problem in
doing so.  Image scaling becomes incredibly noticeable.  I'm not sure
how/why, but it does seem to effect it.  I'm not sure if you checked
out the slideshow part of the prototype, but if you add a splash tag,
the slideshow images look really blocky and generally unacceptable.

2. We plan to offer the choice of setting your resolution, if the
server can't determine it itself.

If you have any other thoughts or ideas please send them on as this
hasn't really been shown to the public and we are not our best
critics.
