The way I develop is that I don't let tomcat run as a service, I just
start it manually
and then generally do
ant uninstall build install
to update the servlet. At one point it used to work (on Linux anyway)
that you could do
ant build and Tomcat would notice the jar had changed automagically,
but that doesn't seem
to have worked for me for a while now.
Others with more Windows mojo than I will probably have a better suggestion.
